Mihtey Application Privacy Policy

Mihtey Solutions LLC (“Mihtey,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy and security of information processed through its internal business systems and connected applications.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when Mihtey’s internal application connects with business platforms such as QuickBooks Online.
1. Scope
This policy applies to information processed through Mihtey’s internal product, catalog, supplier, publishing, and business-integration systems.
The application is designed primarily for Mihtey’s internal business use and is not offered as a consumer-facing software service.
2. Information We May Process
Depending on the features and integrations being used, the application may process:
• product and item information;
• supplier and manufacturer information;
• internal product identifiers and SKUs;
• QuickBooks company identifiers;
• QuickBooks item and account references;
• OAuth access and refresh tokens used to maintain an authorized connection;
• synchronization and verification records;
• audit and operational logs; and
• limited technical information required for security and system operation.
3. How We Use Information
Mihtey may use information processed through the application to:
• operate and maintain internal business systems;
• authenticate authorized integrations;
• synchronize specifically approved business records;
• verify the accuracy and status of synchronized records;
• maintain accounting and product mappings;
• troubleshoot technical problems;
• protect application and account security;
• maintain audit records; and
• comply with applicable legal and business requirements.
4. QuickBooks Data
When Mihtey authorizes a connection to QuickBooks Online, the application accesses only information needed for the approved integration and business process.
The application may perform read operations to verify the connected company, accounts, and item information.
When separately authorized through Mihtey’s controlled publishing process, the application may create or update approved QuickBooks item records.
Mihtey does not use a QuickBooks connection as authorization for unrestricted or automatic publishing.
5. OAuth Credentials and Tokens
QuickBooks authorization credentials and OAuth tokens are treated as sensitive credentials.
They are stored separately from application source code and access is restricted.
OAuth tokens may be refreshed as required to maintain an authorized connection.
6. Sharing of Information
Mihtey does not sell personal or business information obtained through this application.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers when necessary to operate the application, including hosting, infrastructure, security, and connected business-platform providers.
Information connected to QuickBooks is transmitted to or received from Intuit only as necessary to provide the authorized integration.
7. Data Retention
Business records and integration records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for Mihtey’s operational, accounting, security, audit, legal, and compliance purposes.
OAuth credentials and related connection information may be deleted or revoked when the associated integration is disconnected or no longer required.
8. Security
Mihtey uses administrative and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Disconnecting QuickBooks
Mihtey may revoke or disconnect the application’s access to QuickBooks Online at any time.
Authorization may also be revoked through the applicable Intuit or QuickBooks account controls.
10. Children’s Privacy
This application is intended for business use and is not directed to children.
11. Changes to This Policy
Mihtey may update this Privacy Policy when its systems, integrations, business practices, or legal requirements change.
The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
